Vivid new music from a Pulitzer and Grammy award-winning composer, played by star soloist Olly Coates, together with dozens of cellists from across the region. Audience in the middle, cellists round the outside, a wash of sound gently unfolds … and silence. Canticles of the Sky promises to be a rare and spectacular treat, perfectly complemented with solo extracts from J S Bach’s Cello Suites.
