Concerteenies with Music in the Round

Programme Information

Cellist Laura van der Heijden, winner of BBC Music Magazine’s Newcomer of the Year Award 2019, and outstanding pianist Tom Poster lead two relaxed concerts for young children and their grown-ups, with bubbles, percussion, props and informal introductions.

These concerts, presented in partnership with Concerteenies, are a great way for young children to experience live music from world-class musicians who have been brought to Sheffield by Music in the Round.

Please note: because each session is specifically designed for the ages specified, we aren’t able to accommodate older siblings within the 10.15am session, but siblings of all ages are welcome at the 11.30am session. Children must be accompanied by a grown-up and grown-ups must be accompanied by one or more children.

On purchasing your ticket, please indicate how many children will be attending. Child tickets are limited to a maximum of two per grown-up. If you’d like to bring more children with you, please give us a call on 0114 281 4660 before booking your tickets.

***Priority booking opens for Friends of Music in the Round on Saturday 6 July at 10am.
General booking opens on Saturday 13 July at 10am.
