“Potentially one of the greatest pianists of the 21st century. Any chance to hear him should be snapped up!” The Daily Telegraph
Yevgeny Sudbin was born in St Petersburg, then emigrated to Germany with his family, before settling in London in 1997 to study at the Purcell School and Royal Academy of Music. Rave reviews, international recitals and numerous awards have followed, all pointing to his outstanding virtuosity combined with rare sensitivity and insight.
Yevgeny’s varied and dynamic programme is a showcase for both his championing of the delicate baroque compositions of Scarlatti and the crafting of his own show-stopping arrangements, which recall the recitals of the legendary Russian-American pianist Vladimir Horowitz.
