Artistic Director

Angus is an internationally renowned musician and artistic director with an exceptional reputation. He has a wealth of experience programming, performing in and managing his own group, The Orlando Consort (for whom he sings 2nd Tenor), devising and running creative projects for Oundle International Festival, and collaborating with a range of instrumentalists, singers and composers including jazz quartet the Perfect Houseplants, young British composer Tarik O’Regan, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the tabla player Kuljit Bhamra.  Equally committed to new music, Angus has performed thirty-one world premieres in the last ten years alone with The Orlando Consort. Angus brings fresh ideas and a new perspective with which to continue the pioneering work done by Music in the Round to promote the best in chamber music.
